Cooked some thanksgiving dinner at home.
Jackson and Alex looked pretty damn proud of their turkey.
I know I recommended the APC eMOTIVEe cover album. I am so sorry. So so so so sorry. Other than an interesting interpretation of Imagine, and Passive (A semi-original song that had its genesis in the Tapeworm project (When the hell will they ever come out with an album)), the whole CD was crap. Total, unadulterated crap.
However! Just the other day a new APC DVD/CD came out called aMOTION. I am very happy to say that it kicks ass. The DVD has a lot of APC videos, and some other goodness, and the CD is a remix CD. The CD has a lot of Danny Lohner remixes, and is generally amazing. So. If you are a fan and were totally disappointed by eMOTIVEe, pick up aMOTION and pretend eMOTIVEe never happened.
On monday, we (Jackson, Alex and myself) went to Disneyland to see KMFDM. Yes. Disneyland. KMFDM. Very strange, great show though. I hadn't really listened to them heavily in years, and I was pretty damn amazed. Getting 5 feet away from the stage never hurts though.
Been playing some Halo2, I think I am nearish to the end, so far it is pretty impressive, the AI seems to be a good bit improved over Halo. The graphics also seem to be a lot nicer, but that might have to do with playing the first one on a 15 year old 20 inch TV and playing this one on a 2 year old 38 inch HDTV. Just maybe.
woooo , we have migrated over to svn. We spent about a week talking about it, getting ready, doing a couple test migrations, and about 6 hours (or so) doing the actual migration. Anonymous access should be up soon (tonight, or tomorrow).
It is a testament to how much SVN kicks ass that it is just so painless. Yay for SVN.
Other *cough*gnome*cough* projects might benefit similarly! :)
Its a rhetorical question, but seriously when you stumble across this lovely bit of cruft from the xmlrpc.net website, you have to wonder what the hell is going on.
- client support for various XML encodings and XML indentation styles (some other XML-RPC server implementations incorrectly only accept certain indentation styles)
One of the advantages of living in southern California. On the left we have where I am, and on the right, we have where I used to live (Toronto). Oh, and the weather here today is kinda shitty, comparatively.
Here is a great place to start for people looking to use SVN from C#. In fact, if someone were interested in say, offering SVN integration for MonoDevelop projects, it looks like a lot of the hard work is already done.
Martin Baulig came to visit this weekend, at the end of his vacation.
Jackson, being a good coworker, tucking Martin into bed.
Roxy saying hello.
I was going to vote for Miguel for President, but then I found that he is a flipflopper. Proof!
01:03 <@miguel> In the old days, I remember flipping bits 01:03 <@miguel> flip flop 01:03 <@miguel> I would do that all day 01:03 <@miguel> flip and flop
If you can legally vote in the US, and you don't tomorrow, I will kill you.
(While you are out, you should also pick up the new APC album)
PS - I am serious. I will kill you dead.
