jeroen, gustavo and I all hacked around a bit over the last couple days, and we were able to get the gdl-docker working in MonoDevelop. It is actually quite sweet and fun to play around with.

Notice off to the right we have an iconified Class Pad thing, its pretty interesting. There are a handful of bugs to work out and around, and then I will be snapshotting this for you guys to play with. Hopefully by the time we work out some of these bugs, the new text editor will be even more usable. This release (20 days away) is looking very nice :)

As a Gnome user, and a person who really likes C#, I must say thank you for all the hard work you are putting into this. It's greatly appreciated. Can't wait for the release.

So, does this I dont have to use windows anymore? Only reason I use Windows 2000 is for C# development. GO MONO!!!!!

excellent news! Hope to see it soon. Will it have [or are there plans] for having a GTK# or wx.net GUI designer?

O_O dear god... another reason I still use Windows... to make C# apps (VS.NET is a very nice editor)... one more step before I can kick Windows goodbye!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! GTK was the way to go ^_^ (Now to convince game makers to port...)

The mono project is truly impressive and I know Monodevelop will be a great showcase. The mono apps I have downloaded so far "just work(tm)" even though many are 0.x releases. This is solid work!

Use glade for UI Design, it's XML Output will work for GTK# too.
